COVID 19 information

From March 2020, prior to lockdown, we implemented a two stage cleaning process to protect our staff and clients alike. Following regular cleaning we then disinfected high touch / high risk areas as standard. We increased our PPE provision and briefed our staff regularly on updates and compliance expected of them. We continued to work through lockdown for essential business clients and also our vulnerable who rely upon us daily.

As information and experience began to trickle through on the SARS-COV-2 virus and its associated disease COVID-19 we began to take steps towards providing as effective a service as we could to reduce the prevalence and transmission of this threat.

Initially Joanna under took specific training on managing staff and business as a result of SARS-COV-2 to enable her to advise her staff, the majority of whom were furloughed, but it also allowed her to begin the strands of business that would open back on a phased return. Emergency COVID19 cleaning

If you have a confirmed COVID19 case within your premises (be it via test and protect or staff members), we are here to help. We offer a priority biohazard cleaning service for any property which has been affected by SARS-CoV-2 and its subsequent disease COVID19.

Our highly trained, specialist team will seal your property allowing entry only for themselves and begin a process of testing and cleaning. Using a combination of application by hand and by machine we ensure surfaces are cleaned and in contact with the virus destroying chemicals. Specialist test machines take before and after readings to detect biomatter, essential for viral partical survival and chemical test strips are dispersed throughout buildings to ensure the correct saturation levels of fogged chemicals is reached. Once the process is complete one hour must be allowed before re-entry by the general public or staff, and we will issue a certificate of clean detailing the chemicals used.

Anti-viral decontamination

While all our process within general cleaning and laundering processes are subject to Anti-viral processes we can also offer a complex Antiviral Decontamination Fogging procedure.

This is a professional and complex whole room/building disinfection process by highly trained staff. Offering virtually instant results with data evidence as a result of before and after swab testing this is the top tier of decontamination in any setting.

The viricidal fogging chemicals we use are Envirosafe and Envirosafe SF which is a powerful, fast acting cleaner and sanitiser, approved to BS EN 1276, BS EN 1650 and BS EN 14476:2013 A2:2019 Annex A. All with recorded log kills of between 4.33 and 6.

Fogging significantly reduces the number of viable infectious pathogens, treating the surface and the air, when compared to manual surface cleaning alone. It offers a quick, effective process with minimal disruption to the organisation.

Fogging sanitation produces micro-droplets of disinfectant and biocides that float in the air for around 10 minutes after application. Dispersing these micro-droplets into the air means the solution can reach hard to access areas that would not be sanitised by conventional cleaning.

We can offer solutions for zone disinfection or whole building disinfection.

Full risk assessments, method statements, COSHH assessments and building specific documentation will be provided prior to each decontamination. High tech, WiFi enabled technology will be used to ensure you have real time test results before and after application.

Fogging is not recommended as a quick solution to cleaning for example between guests at a holiday let etc. It is a final step in an intensive cleaning protocol and is advised against by the ASSC (Association of Scotland’s Self Caterers).

Envirosafe

Following this all staff, including new recruits, underwent specific training on Cleaning and Infection Control in General Facilities. During their training they were also issued with specific guidance for general cleaning and holiday let cleaning, in particular new chemicals and PPE procedures.

With guidance from the Guild of Cleaners and Launderers, SEPA (Scottish Environmental Protection Agency), ASSC (Association of Scotlands Self Caterers) and some of the leaders in the field on BioHazard and Infection Control training we have now developed a fully risk assessed approach to all work we carry out.

From general domestic help right up to commercial and healthcare fogging we have a bespoke SARS-COV-2 defence system available for you.
